What your purchase includes

When you buy the book — print, digital, or the bundle — you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to:

  • Read and re-read the book for your own personal use.
  • Reference it during your own salon consultations and styling decisions.
  • Store the digital PDF on devices you personally own.

What is not permitted

Without prior written permission, you may not:

  • Forward, email, AirDrop, text or otherwise share the PDF file with another person.
  • Upload the book — in whole or in part — to any website, cloud folder, drive, forum, group chat, or file-sharing service.
  • Resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the book in any format.
  • Reproduce substantial portions of the text or imagery in print, online, or on social media.
  • Use the content commercially — including in training materials, courses, client handouts, or salon resources — without a separate commercial licence.
  • Use the content to train, fine-tune, or generate output from any AI or machine-learning model.

Short, credited quotes for personal reviews and recommendations are warmly welcome — that's not what this clause is about.

Digital downloads

Digital editions are delivered with download limits and may include buyer-specific watermarking (your name, email and order number embedded in each page) for the protection of the author and the integrity of the work. By purchasing, you consent to this watermarking.

Refunds

Because the digital edition is delivered instantly and cannot be returned, all sales of digital and bundle products are final. Print-only orders that arrive damaged will of course be replaced — please reach out within 14 days of delivery.

If you'd like to share the work

For press features, podcast mentions, excerpts in articles, bulk salon orders, or any commercial use — please get in touch. The answer is very often yes, it just needs to be a conversation first.

Enforcement

Unauthorised reproduction or distribution of this work may result in the takedown of the offending material and legal action under applicable copyright law. We monitor for redistribution and take it seriously — not because we want to, but because protecting this work is what allows it to keep existing.
